This Privacy Policy explains what information Pearl32 Dentistry and Wellness collects through pearl32.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Pearl32 is a dental practice in Laguna Hills, California, serving the community since 1994. We do not sell your information. Analytics and advertising cookies run only if you accept them in our cookie banner, and our Google tools never use them to personalize ads.

Who we are and what this policy covers

Pearl32 Dentistry and Wellness is operated by Masih Rezaei Dental Corporation, 24022 Calle De La Plata, Suite 450, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. In this policy, “Pearl32,” “we” and “us” mean the practice. This policy covers pearl32.com, our online booking, our contact form, and the text messages and emails we send.

Your dental records and other health information are protected by federal law (HIPAA) and California law. How we use and share them is explained in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which applies whenever this policy and that notice overlap. Use of this website is also governed by our Terms of Use.

What information do we collect?

Information you give us.

• Contact form: your name, phone number, email address and message.
• Online booking: the details the scheduling form asks for, such as your name, phone, email, date of birth, the reason for your visit and your insurance.
• Calls, emails, texts and faxes: whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically. Like every website, our hosting and security providers receive technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to deliver pages and to block spam and attacks.

Analytics and ad measurement, only with your permission. If you accept analytics or advertising cookies in our cookie banner, Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages viewed, the device and general location, and clicks on the call, text and Book Online buttons), and Google Ads conversion tracking tells us whether a visit that came from one of our ads led to a call, a text or an online booking. These tools use cookies or similar identifiers. They do not see what you type into the contact form or the booking form. Until you accept, nothing is sent to Google Analytics or Google Ads.

One phone number. The site always shows our office number, (949) 830-0074, and never swaps it for a tracking number. If you call us straight from a Google ad, Google may report that the call came from the ad, with its start time, length and the caller’s area code.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel, only with your permission. If you accept advertising cookies, a Meta pixel records that a page was viewed. It runs only on general pages (home, about, contact, insurance, membership, financing, new patients, the dentist pages and the area pages), never on treatment, condition or blog article pages, and it never receives what you type into a form. Meta may use it to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited pearl32.com.

How do we use your information?

• To send text messages and emails you have agreed to receive.
• To keep the website secure and working.
• To meet our legal and professional obligations.

Do we sell or share your information?

We do not sell personal information, and we do not give your information to anyone for their own marketing. Ad personalization is switched off in our Google tools. If you accept advertising cookies, the Meta pixel described above may count as sharing for advertising under California law. You can refuse it in the cookie banner or change your choice at any time, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.

We use a small number of service providers who handle information only to provide their service to us:

• Website hosting and security (Namecheap and Cloudflare).
• Our online scheduling provider, which runs the booking form.
• Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our contact form from spam. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google LLC), and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), only if you accept analytics or advertising cookies. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on and My Ad Center.
• CookieYes, which shows our cookie banner and remembers your choice.
• Trustindex, which displays our Google reviews.
• YouTube, in privacy-enhanced mode, for our videos.
• Our phone, text messaging, fax and email providers.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the practice, in which case this policy and the law continue to protect it.

Cookies and Do Not Track

Always on: cookies the site needs to work and stay secure, such as Cloudflare security cookies, WordPress functional cookies and the cookie that remembers your cookie banner choice.

Only if you agree: analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta pixel). They stay off until you choose Accept All or switch them on under Customize. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings button at the bottom corner of every page. Embedded services such as YouTube and the booking form may set their own cookies when you use them.

Do Not Track: there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, so the site does not change what it does based on that signal alone. You control analytics and advertising cookies through the cookie banner instead. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not do in any case.

Text messages (SMS)

With your consent, Pearl32 sends text messages from (949) 830-0074, including appointment reminders and confirmations, and occasional offers and practice news. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or treatment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages. Full program terms are in our Terms of Use.

Please keep health details off the contact form

The contact form, email and text are not the right place for detailed health information. Please call us at (949) 830-0074 instead. Once you are our patient, your health information is protected under HIPAA and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

How do we protect and keep your information?

The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, access to messages and booking requests is limited to staff who need them, and our providers are required to protect what they handle. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. We keep website messages only as long as we need them. Dental records are kept for the periods California and federal law require.

Your choices and California privacy rights

• You can ask what personal information we hold about you from this website, and ask us to correct or delete it. We respond within 45 days and may need to confirm your identity first. Dental records we are required by law to keep cannot be deleted on request.
• You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and out of emails by using the unsubscribe link or telling us.
• California Shine the Light law: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
• We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Children

pearl32.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Parents and guardians book and manage care for minors. If you believe a child sent us information through the site, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other sites, such as insurance carriers, financing companies and social media. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Significant changes will be noted at the top of the page.

No. Pearl32 Dentistry and Wellness does not sell personal information.
