Most of Mission Viejo is 8 to 15 minutes from our office outside rush hour, nearly all of it on the I-5. A city of about 90,000 people has plenty of dentists of its own. What we offer is a short drive, family visits booked together, and a lot of experience with the restorative work that comes with teeth people have looked after for decades.

How long is the drive?

  • From central Mission Viejo, near Mission Viejo High School, about 8 minutes on the I-5 from La Paz Road.
  • From Lake Mission Viejo, about 13 minutes via Alicia Parkway and the I-5.
  • From the south end of the city, around Marguerite Parkway and Capistrano Valley High School, about 15 minutes.

Those times are outside rush hour. The I-5 is slower at commute times, so allow extra in the morning and late afternoon. Street parking is free and there are free spaces behind the building. The parking structure charges, so most people skip it. Suite 450 is reached by elevator.

Do you see patients from Casta del Sol and Palmia?

Yes. About 22.7 percent of Mission Viejo residents are 65 or over, according to Census figures for 2020 to 2024. Casta del Sol and Palmia are both gated 55 and over communities in the city, with close to 2,900 homes between them.

Much of the city was built in the 1970s and 1980s, and many people who moved in then are still here. The work that matters most at this stage is keeping teeth, or replacing them well:

Dr. Nojan Jahedmanesh holds a certificate in prosthodontics from UCLA and practices as a general dentist. Prosthodontics is the area of dentistry concerned with replacing missing teeth.

What about the children and teenagers?

About one in five Mission Viejo residents is under 18. The city is split between two school districts, Saddleback Valley Unified and Capistrano Unified, so the school calendar depends on where you live. Tell us which district you are in and we will plan visits around its breaks.

If a tooth is knocked out. Hold it by the crown, not the root, keep it in milk and call us right away on (949) 830-0074. The first hour makes a real difference. See emergency dentistry.

We just moved to Mission Viejo. Where do we start?

Come in for a proper first visit rather than an emergency one. We take a full set of records, tell you plainly what needs attention now and what can wait, and you then have somewhere to call when something breaks on a Sunday night.

That applies whether you have landed in Pacific Hills, Aegean Hills, Madrid Fore or Canyon Crest or anywhere else in Mission Viejo.

For routine care, see dental cleanings and exams, fillings, crowns and tooth extractions. If dental visits make you anxious, sedation dentistry is available, and same-day emergency appointments are held daily.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, Humana, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare and other major PPO plans, and the Delta Dental, Guardian and MetLife HMO plans (full list).

Call with your carrier name, member ID and group number. We will check your coverage before your first visit rather than after it.

What will it cost?

For anything past an exam and cleaning you get a written estimate first, itemized. It shows what your plan is expected to pay and what it leaves you.

No dental insurance? The Pearl32 membership is $59 a month with a $119 activation fee. There is also third party financing through Cherry, CareCredit, Sunbit and Happen Bank. The practice is not the creditor.

One thing worth saying plainly. This is a general practice, not a specialty office. Some complex surgical cases belong with a specialist. When that is the right call we will tell you so rather than take the case.

We are in Laguna Hills, not Mission Viejo. There is a page for Laguna Hills with the neighborhoods, parking and the elevator to Suite 450.

Pearl32 Dentistry and Wellness also has pages for patients coming from Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Laguna Woods Village, Lake Forest, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Beach, Irvine, San Juan Capistrano, Tustin, Dana Point, San Clemente, Newport Beach and South Orange County. The office is the same one, at 24022 Calle De La Plata, Suite 450, Laguna Hills.
